240-2Gaonifan (High Retroreflectivity Glass Beads – 20-40 Mesh (0.85-0.425 mm)) is a high-retroflectivity glass bead made by Yongqing Linghang Glass Bead Co., Ltd. in Hebei, China. Compared with the standard R.I. 1.5 soda-lime grade, this bead is formulated for higher retroreflective performance in road marking, traffic sign overlay, and retroreflective sheeting. It is typically used where night visibility must stay high for the service life of the marking, not just the first night after application.
This grade is sized at 20-40 mesh (0.85-0.425 mm). The mesh range is selected to balance embedding depth in the paint film against coverage rate on the line; your line paint thickness and applicator speed determine the optimal size for a given project.
