MOQ depends on the grade. For standard mesh sizes we accept small trial orders so you can test quality first; bulk container orders receive the best factory price. Contact us for details.

Can you produce glass beads to our specification?

Yes. We can produce custom mesh grades from 20 to 500 mesh, and supply to international standards including AASHTO M247, EN 1423/1424 and BS 6088 on request.

Do you offer free samples?

Yes, samples are available before ordering so you can verify roundness, size distribution and retroreflectivity in your own lab.

What is your production capacity and lead time?

We have over 200 employees and stable supply for container orders. Standard grades are usually ready within days; custom grades depend on the specification.

How do you control quality?

Every batch is testable: refractive index (R.I.), retroreflectivity RL and particle size distribution are checked and can be reported with each shipment.

1630 (Glass Beads for Grinding – 16-30 Mesh (1.18-0.6 mm)) is a soda-lime glass bead used as a fine grinding / milling / deburring / peening abrasive, manufactured by Yongqing Linghang Glass Bead Co., Ltd. in Hebei, China. The bead is chemically inert, spherical, and sized for use as a non-metallic abrasive in wet or dry blasting, deburring, peening, and surface finishing of metal, stone, and plastic parts. Because glass is softer than most engineering alloys, it removes surface contamination without embedding into the substrate, leaving a clean satin / matte finish.

This grade is sized at 16-30 mesh (1.18-0.6 mm). The bead works best when the part to be finished can be tumbled, vibrated, or sprayed; coarser fractions cut faster and leave a rougher profile, finer fractions produce a smoother satin finish and longer bead life.
